Ikaikaokalani "Kai" Low
B.S. Exercise Science, CMT, MMP
Ikaikaokalani "Kai" Low was born and raised in Honolulu, HI. While he will always call Hawaii home, his education and pursuit of his career soon took him off of the island to beautiful Southern California. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at La Sierra University, developing a love for learning about human anatomy and how bones and muscles work together.
After graduation, Kai began working at a rehabilitation hospital in Pomona. It was here that his understanding of human movement began to solidify. He assisted with spinal cord and traumatic brain injured clients through physical therapies and daily life activities. His sense of compassion grew as well while watching the mental health struggles of the clients and their families. It was here that an injury would force Kai to change his career path.
He attended the School of Holistic Touch, in Ontario, CA, while recovering from his injuries and became California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC) certified in 2018. With a background in Exercise Science, Kai's therapeutic mindset shines through in his approach and techniques.
Over the past 4 years, he has been honing his application and problem-solving skills at various spas and a chiropractic office to bring you Island Hands Massage Therapy, a service that elevates the standard of massage to better serve the community at large with competent treatment and care.
